Have you ever felt that you’re losing the drive that keeps you motivated?
Different challenges in your business may cause your motivation and drive levels to fluctuate. Despite this being completely normal it does pose some challenges in the way we go about running our businesses.
Therefore, I chose to address a question regarding motivation levels in business from Sandra in Melbourne. The largest challenge for Sandra, was seeing other business owners succeeding (and motivated) while she felt a sense of detachment.
To answer her question I travelled back in my mind to a time where I experienced very similar feelings.
There have been times in the past when I questioned my own motivation and drive, when my business was not performing as well as I’d hoped. In hindsight, I now know that it is only normal to feel detached from your goals in difficult times, but the main point here is to hold on to your purpose.
If you have ever found yourself in a situation where you have become detached from your goals and lost the fuel that burns your fire to succeed, today’s episode can help you through this.
Today’s episode will provide you with mechanisms to deal with situations just like this, where you are placed in a position that questions your drive to succeed.
You just like Sandra, might be asking yourself… “how you I keep motivated to succeed or what can I use to fuel my drive?”
As Mario Andretti once said, “Desire is the key to motivation”. He is right, for you to achieve what you set your mind to you need to be able to keep on track and not lose site of the big picture.
If it is a well-run business that you want, get up and hire the most reliable and hardworking staff that you can. It’s the small things that make the biggest difference and in Sandra’s case this could be a giant weight off her shoulders.
I would love to hear from you.
